• How do photo portraits work?

  Upload a photo on the Design yours page, pick a style, the garment and the embroidery size, and add it to your bag. Our designer redraws your photo by hand so it can be stitched (no filters, no AI), and sends you a free stitch preview within 3 days. Up to 2 rounds of changes are free, and we only stitch it once you approve.

• What photos work best?

  Clear, well-lit photos where faces (or the whole car) are easy to see. For couples and families, one photo of everyone works best, but you can add up to three photos and we'll put you together.

• How many people or pets can be in one portrait?

  Up to five. A couple's portrait includes two people, a family three, and everything else one. Each extra person or pet is a one-off extra. The more there are, the bigger the design needs to be, so groups suit the medium or large size.

• What happens to my photos?

  They're kept privately and used only to make your portrait. We delete them 90 days after your order is finished, or after 7 days if you don't order. Our privacy policy has the details.

• Which styles can I choose?

  Line art (clean outlines, minimal), Full detail (shaded thread, closest to your photo) and Faceless (hair, clothes and outline, no eyes or mouth). Every style is drawn by hand for your photo.

• How big is the embroidery?

  Small is about 10 cm wide, for a left chest, cap or sleeve. Medium is about 15 cm and large about 20 cm, for the centre front or the back. Caps and beanies take the small size.

• Can I add a name, a wreath or the number plate?

  Yes. Add names, a date or your car's number plate under the portrait, a wreath of Australian native flowers (or pōhutukawa for New Zealand) around it, or a name with a small icon (a heart, star, paw print, wattle flower or kangaroo) on the sleeve. Each is a small extra per piece.

• Can I get it as a patch?

  Yes. Any portrait can be an iron-on patch, from 5 to 20 cm, with no garment needed. Extra copies of the same patch cost less, and patch-only orders post for less.

• Do you post to New Zealand?

  Yes. We post from Australia with tracking; allow 1 to 2 weeks more than in Australia. Prices are in Australian dollars and your bank converts them.

• How do I pay?

  Nothing is charged until you approve your proof. Then you pay by PayID or bank transfer, with your order number as the reference; the details are on your order page and we'll send them on WhatsApp too. Once the money arrives we send your receipt and start stitching.

• Is there a minimum order?

  No. Order a single cap or a few hundred polos. Bigger orders get cheaper per piece; the price drops at 10, 25, 50 and 100.

• What file should I upload?

  A PNG, SVG or PDF with a transparent background is ideal, but a clear JPG works too. We redraw every logo as stitches (digitising) for free, and send you a proof before anything is made.

• How long does it take?

  Photo portraits: your stitch preview arrives within 3 days, and your order is posted within 2 weeks of you approving it. Logo orders are usually stitched and dispatched within 5 business days of approval. Need it sooner? Add your date to your proof request and we'll confirm it.

• Can you match my brand colours?

  Yes. We stock hundreds of thread colours and match to your Pantone or hex values as closely as thread allows.

• Where can my logo go?

  Left chest, centre chest, sleeve, back, cap front and side, beanie cuff and bag front. One position is included in the price; tell us about extra positions in your proof request notes and we'll include them in your quote.
