Terms of sale

These terms apply to orders placed with AussieStitch. They don't limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or, for customers in New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Proofs and approval

  • Every order starts with a free digital proof. Nothing is made until you approve it.
  • Please check the proof carefully: spelling, position, size and thread colours. Once you approve it, we make the order exactly as shown.
  • Thread colours are matched as closely as thread allows; small differences from screen colours are normal.

Photo portraits

  • We send your stitch preview within 3 days of your order, and post your order within 2 weeks of you approving the proof.
  • Up to 2 rounds of changes to your portrait are free. If you're still not happy after that, we'll cancel the order and refund what you've paid, except the artwork fee, which covers our designer's time.

Prices and payment

  • Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Orders posted to New Zealand are exports, so no Australian GST applies to them.
  • Prices shown on the website are estimates until we confirm your order with the proof. Bulk prices apply per item.
  • We'll ask for payment once you approve your proof, before we start stitching. You pay by PayID or bank transfer, using your order number as the reference, and we send you a receipt once it arrives.

Your artwork

By sending us a logo, artwork or photo, you confirm you have the right to use it (and that everyone in a photo is happy for you to use it), and that embroidering it won't infringe anyone else's trademark or copyright. We leave car badges and other brand logos out of portraits.

Making and delivery times

Turnaround times are estimates from proof approval and can change at busy times. If you need your order by a date, tell us when you request your proof and we'll confirm whether we can make it.

Changes and cancellations

You can change or cancel your order free of charge until you approve the proof. After that, materials have been bought and digitising done, so we may charge for work already completed.
